Ballet DeSoto Company members love the classics.  However, it's the original, contemporary works that inspire the creativity and emotion that audiences have come to associate with our Company.

Feel The Music was a deeply moving concept piece that served as a benefit for The Memphis Oral School for the Deaf. 

Vivaldi's Four Seasons was presented as Act 2 of 2006's Spring Ballet.  The performance was choreographed as to take the viewer back in time to the many playgrounds Mother Nature provides.

Ballet Desoto's next original choreography, Ragtime Remembered, 
will be presented in October 2008 for the Regional Library's Big Read sponsored by the DeSoto Arts Council.  The literary selection is Tom Sawyer and the music is Ragtime!  This fun era of early American dancing will be quite a challenge for Company Members to master.
